KTP offers a range of classes and workshops conducted by instructors involved in their fields.

MOVING IMAGE ACADEMY
The Moving Image Academy is a new initiative of the Kentucky Theater Project, in partnership with the Speed Museum and the Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts. This engaging program offers after school, weekend, and summer camp programming for young people in film production and editing, clay animation, music scoring, acting for the camera, and digital visual art techniques.

COMING THIS SUMMER
Intensive Video Production and Clay Animation Classes for Middle and High School Students at the Kentucky Theater!

LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION
This one week workshop will engage students in the full picture of video production including script writing, storyboarding, designing and building 3D animation characters, props and sets, and shooting productions in digital video. Students supply lunch and snacks.

July 17-21
Day/Time: Monday-Friday, 9-4pm
30 instructional hrs. per wk.
Tuition: $350.00

SHOWTIME
This one week program focuses on the post production phase of media art. Working with computers and editing software, students will cut their pieces into a finished production with soundtrack, titles and credits. Students supply lunch and snacks.

July 24-28
Day/Time: Monday-Friday, 9-4pm
30 instructional hrs. per wk.
Tuition: $350.00

DIGITAL MIXER
Digital art students will be working with digital still cameras, Photoshop, and 2D Studio materials in this one week workshop. This mixed media program is an intensive hands on course. It will explore the elements of art and the principles of design through an exciting digital approach. Students supply lunch and snacks.
