COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS

Drama has served as a method of learning and remembering from the beginning of recorded history. It serves as a powerful force to entertain, educate, and provide emotional catharsis.

Kentucky Theater Project provides acting classes and workshops at the Kentucky Theater through the Louisville Studio for Actors (LSA). LSA teaches the craft of acting in the Stanislavsky system (aka method) for beginning and advanced students, including technical skills such as improvisation, cold reading, scene study, audition techniques, industry terminology, monologues, and performance.

Kentucky Theater Project also engages artists in conducting acting classes and workshops at schools and community centers, which focus on improvisation and basic acting skills for drama, including voice over for radio, film, and commercials.
