Kentucky’s Hispanic population has nearly tripled since 1990 and its Asian population has increased by two-thirds. The public school system in Jefferson County now has 30 schools that teach English as a second language to students who speak 58 different languages.

The International and Multicultural Program gives people of vast backgrounds the opportunity to come together to share stories and create art, so they may discover similarities and build kinships that help reduce feelings of alienation and isolation.

Kentucky Theater Project recognizes all artistic endeavors, giving people of all faiths and cultures a place where hope is nurtured and diverse expressions are honored.
